Page 2 of Tani’s Entrepreneur Journey To Love is the moment I said goodbye to my comfort zone and hello to the unknown!

The travel program I’d been eyeing had a black Friday sale in 2021. I put down my deposit but I’m not going to lie… I was nervous!

I mean, I was leaving my *nest* of where I built a successful online business and my *safe* space where my family and I got closer during the quarantine to now go and travel for 4 months with 30+ other people I’ve never met.

I remember my mom told me “You should stay and save your money… to buy a house” but if I were to listen to her I’d be working toward her dreams and not my own…

I made this decision looking back on when I backpacked solo through Europe in 2019. And ever since I’d been itching to go back. But this time on my terms. Not having to request 2 weeks off from my boss but working whenever and wherever I wanted, because now I was the boss.

Since I was leaving behind my hometown in Ohio, I left 3 intentions. To grow my business globally, live like a local, meet new people from all cultures and *try* dating again.

But here’s what really happened at the beginning… I made a total of $543 one month, I found myself going to more tourist ($$$) than local spots, as extroverted as I may seem, I started to realize how REALLY introverted I am. And the travel program felt more of a party rather than the community I was hoping for to help me grow in my career and personal journey. Oh and the dating apps started to overwhelm me!

But do I regret any of it? Absolutely not. I learned to break free from the U.S. hustle culture I was married to. I changed my perspective as these countries taught me to LIVE more than I worked.

And taking this *risk* was exactly what I had to do (no matter how nervous I was) to get closer to finding my love.

I share these experiences to remind you that you’re always ONE decision away from living a completely different life. If you want to hear more of my story, comment below with “Page 3” to get closer to hearing my *happily present now*! Promise it’s worth it. 📝
