Page 1 of Tani’s Entrepreneur Journey To Love starts with the moment I let go of my ego. Around this time 3 years ago I was fighting against what my reality was and if I got my way, I would not be reaping the fruits of God’s plan today.
And because I always advise my clients to share their story after the sh*t has passed, let me share what was REALLY going on.
I was fired from my corporate job at the start of c*vid that put me in survival mode. I remember I applied to over 100+ full time jobs. And not one offer came in that wouldn’t require me get a pay cut. So I said if they won’t give me a seat, I’ll create my own damn table! And that decision led me to today, where I’m running a successful full time business that I love.
My ego wanted me to stay living in NYC. But my purpose told me to move back in with my parents. And I’m so happy that I did because I got closer to my family, paid off half of my student loans, saved $ to travel, explore and live in other countries like South Africa, Spain and Portugal.
After being disappointed from a toxic relationship with a narcissist I knew was not for me, I had NO interest in dating. I was single for 2 years and used that time to do the healing work. But I found myself falling into an extreme form of independence. One that led me to believe I didn’t need anyone and the love I dreamt of was way out of my reach. Until I met someone who I get to experience a love with that I never knew existed for me! Turns out I just needed to leave the U.S. to meet him :)
The next time life tries to hit you with some sh*t you should try asking yourself “How is this part of my story going to lead me to something GREATER?”
